Grow

Grow

Jesus said – “Go into all the world and make disciples!” At Living Word Church, our mission is to equip believers to become fully devoted disciples of Christ. The word, “disciple ,” means to be a student. It is only through the disciplined study of the teachings of Jesus that an individual will grow into a true disciple of Jesus. The discipleship process empowers the student to learn and obey the Word of God, thereby, enabling him to become more like the teacher Himself. This is the essence of spiritual growth. This is also why we place a premium on the teaching and study of the Word of God.

In addition to our Sunday Worship Experience, we have other ministry opportunities to help you grow…

Midweek Connection

Midweek Connection is held each Wednesday evening at 6:30pm with services and classes for the whole family.

These programs are designed to teach kids God’s Word in a fun, interactive setting with spiritual development and skills training.

Hour of Prayer

Prayer is one of the ways in which we build our relationship with God. It enables us to develop intimacy with the Lord, and is vital to how we live and relate to one another. It was so important to Jesus that He made it a daily practice. Prayer is also vital for the growth of the Church. The Lord declared in scripture – “My House will be a House of Prayer for all nations !” At LWC, we desire to fulfill God’s vision by being a House of Prayer.

Our Hour of Prayer Service is held on the second Sunday evening of each month in the Main Auditorium from 6-7pm. Jesus asked His disciples, “ Can you pray with Me for one hour ?” Jesus is still asking this question. We encourage our members to join us each month for corporate prayer. One hour of faith-filled, fervent prayer will release God’s power to change lives.

Ignite Leadership Development

Our Ignite Leadership Development sessions are held on the fourth Sunday evening of each month in the Youth Chapel from 6-7pm. These sessions are for all of our Church leaders, workers, volunteers and those who would like to become volunteers. These sessions are designed to develop our leadership team, build unity and foster growth as we work together for a common vision. We are excited about the future growth of our ministry and want to equip our team to continually strive for the next level.

Pastor Brad hosts annual conferences and events that incorporate other ministries and churches from the local area.
